Telluria is a long, heavily forested land stretching south from the mountains bordering Tundris. Its northern and western regions are dominated by steep ranges, while its southern and eastern portions are warmer, greener, and densely wooded.

 

Rivers descend from the mountains and flow through the forested interior, creating fertile valleys, broad watersheds, and productive lowlands. The eastern and southern coasts contain forested plains, river mouths, and natural harbors.

 

Telluria has a varied temperate climate. Its northern highlands experience cold winters and heavy snowfall, while the southern forests have milder winters, warm summers, and substantial rainfall. Moisture from the eastern sea supports dense woodland along the coast, while the interior valleys are sheltered enough to sustain agriculture, orchards, and large settlements.

Telluria’s long shoreline also gives it access to both the northern and central seas, making its southern ports important links between Tundris, Nirvana, Fresta, and Destos.
