Tundris is a cold northern kingdom defined by an enormous wall of mountains. Much of its northern and central interior is covered in snow and ice, with jagged alpine peaks forming a natural barrier between the frozen wilderness and the greener southern coast.

 

The most habitable territory lies along the southern and southeastern lowlands, where the snow gives way to evergreen forests, sheltered valleys, and narrow coastal plains. Glacial rivers descend from the mountains, providing freshwater and fertile soil during the warmer months.

 

Tundris has a severe subarctic climate. Winters are long, dark, and intensely cold, while summers are short and mild. The coastal regions receive heavy snow and frequent storms from the surrounding seas, whereas valleys sheltered behind the mountains are drier. Most of the region's population lives in and around the southern forests, where the longer growing season allows for more sustainable agriculture.
