Olympia occupies the southern portion of the western continent and is considerably greener than Cadstern. Its landscape consists of forested hills, mountain valleys, fertile coastal plains, and a long southern peninsula.

 

The kingdom’s northern frontier gradually transitions into Cadstern’s dry interior, while its southern and western regions receive greater maritime moisture. Rivers descending from the highlands support farmland, orchards, vineyards, forests, and densely populated valleys. The southern peninsula contains narrow ridges and coastal lowlands overlooking the surrounding sea.

 

Olympia has a warm temperate climate. Summers are hot and generally dry, while winters are mild and wetter. The western mountains receive more rainfall and sustain dense forests, while the sheltered eastern valleys are warmer and better suited to agriculture.

 

Olympia occupies one of the strongest maritime positions in the known world. Its peninsula commands the passage between the western and southern seas, while its proximity to the Stormy Isles gives it access to island trade routes. Ports on opposite sides of the peninsula can serve different seas, allowing Olympia to move ships and goods between regions without crossing Cadstern’s interior.
